I mentally blocked everything out, lol but I vividly remember someone in my family saying “you’re going to end up just like your mother.” I don’t remember who said it exactly, whether it be my parents, or my sister… But it hurt. My (biological) mother was a drug addict, child neglecter, and passed away from an overdose.


I don’t have negative feelings towards my biological mother, but she’s the last person I want to end up as. I think that comment was said when I was 15, and still smoking weed. I was pissed, but I never forgot that, and that was one of the things that motivated me to get sober, since I am very predisposed to addiction.
