Do you lend money to people who are close to you?

I lent 100€ to a friend in early January with the promise that i'll have it back a month later because i needed it to go towards my semester fees. I still haven't seen it back. I am kinda pissed because that friend knows i am in a tight spot financially while he currently lives with his brother where he gets food and has a roof over his head for free.
My existence doesn't depend on that money but i just feel like i need it more than him and it is still mine after all.
Have you ever dealt with a situation like that? How should i approach it?

Close family and friends I just give them money when they need it. Sometimes they pay it back and sometimes not.
If however I was in a position where I was relying on having it back, and it was a friend, I would contact their parents, family and friends and ask ALL of them to pass a message on that I needed it.
I would make them look really foolish to everyone they know!

"never a lender ora borrower be"
As you'll only get used either way by some and you don't want to lose friends or family over money although sometimes if you do lose anyone to such devices it may just be the best money you ever spent?

i already did it's always "i'll give back next week" or "i'll give it back next month". i'll wait another week and after that i'll get extremely uncomfortable

Record his word on a voice recorder app him giving you another date, when that time comes you ask for it and if he stalls it you mention what he said before and pull out his voice recording if you have too, maybe it will guilt trip him into paying cause tbh if he just isn't a man of his word then he just isn't, don't lend him anymore money if you know he won't pay back

I might loan a couple bucks to a friend but nothing of a substantial amount. Now family that's different. I've loaned as much as 25 grand to my sister. But that's because I know I can completely trust my family.

I have a very small list of family and friends that i trust completely and i think i will not lend money to anyone else as long as i don't earn more

I understand. I'm VERY tight with my family. When my sister borrowed 25k from me she did it to pay off her house. And she was worried about being able to pay me back quickly. And I told her I had no problem loaning it because 1. I had it to loan. 2. Because I knew I'd get it back. I know her, and I know she'd pay me back even if took her the rest of her life.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend loaning significant money to anyone you don't fully trust.

As for me everything I have I worked for & as for me I’m not a bank & I’m not a lender as well & when it comes to my friends I’m a friend when I’m a friend & when it comes to money I’m not your friend.

You've already heard it. No, money is not lent to friends or family. You know damn well going in you aren't being repaid. That's the attitude you must have. If they repay you, fantastic.

That's how I feel. If I "loan" someone money, I usually do it knowing I probably won't get it back.
