Can a woman settle down without being in love with her husband?

Anonymous
I've heard this but is this really that common? For the woman to settle down in her 30's (catch the last remaining available man that finally proposes and marries her) without really loving him nor having too much sexual attraction towards him.

That's really my grandma's story. She got married for the first time at the age of 34. She fell in love once but the guy strung her along, wasted her years, got her pregnant (but she tripped and lost the baby) and bailed. She found her husband (grandpa) at the age of 32, he proposed a year later and got married the following year. Then finally has her first child (my mom) at the age of 35.
She's always been happy in her marriage, defended her husband if someone bad about him but wasn't really ''in love'' with him. She didn't experienced that ''oh my soulmate, the love of my life'' butterflies in the stomach'' feelings with her husband. Only with the worthless loser from her youthful years.

Grandpa died 2 years ago but she finally admitted that she didn't marry him out of ''falling in love'' nor ''oh the passion, the moon and the stars'' feeling. She marry him to form a family, because he was a great provider and already settle down.
