I definitely miss my elementary friends from K-2nd, 4-6th grade. Jay, Tev and Alex were about as real as it gets. Still couldnt trust them fakeass females back then but those three dudes were my everything back then. And we saw eachother out of school a lot. Probably good i moved for middle school/high school because choosing a prom date between the three would’ve been hard. One tried to reconnect with me after high school but he was the one i legit saw as a friend and nothing more
My family moved back into one of my childhood homes to look after my elderly mother. The neighborhood has changed 98% for the worse.
I do miss my youthful version. If a kid screamed in temper the neighbors would come out and ask what was wrong, if nothing tell you to be quiet. lol Kids have free scream and encouraged now. Cops get called for it.
There is something to moving out at a certain point and not looking back. Just take your memories along with you.
I don’t have too many memories there. I do have some but not a lot. One remarkable one was when a the guy on my dad’s poster came running at the back door with no skin. That was a strange night. There was also this one person which at the time I found to be pretty.
I drove through the old neighborhood last summer. The place is a dump. My old house is a mess and the retaining wall my father built in the yard has collapsed. The friends I had have all moved in fact not a single person I knew growing up still lives there.

Well my parents still live in that house. So I get to we it when I visit. And I did have 2 nieghbours as good friends. They moved away , I tried keeping contact with them. But I guess they didn't. I miss the memories we shared. But i guess I don't miss them that much now. I do miss being young and oblivious.
YES! But no one I know lives there and it looks so different. The biggest is growing up it felt like our house and street was very big but now seem so small. I am lucky to live close enough that I can see it whenever I want.
My parents still live in the house we moved into when I was 7. A lot of the neighbors are the same ones as when I went away to college, though their kids are grown and gone now and they are retired.
I miss the summer house since we had access to a hotel pool for free, as a kinda bribe so the hotel could play music till after 11pm.
I still live in the same area. New people. It's surreal and nostalgic watching my neices and nephew grow up here.
I don't miss anything about my childhood llol
Nope
