I mean in most cases that is something that they already know about each other. It goes the same with how comfortable they both are with sexy cloths and how comfortable they are showing off only breastfeeding is a totally natural thing so they should also both understand that the baby has to be fed and she has to just figure it out. So there are times when woman feed their babies in front of people that they are not comfortable being in front of… and there are times when woman feed their babies in front of people that the husband/father isn’t comfortable with.
that all being said no one should HAVE to check with anyone about something. If there is not understanding and respect that there is not a relationship. I’m not being sexual specific because of t goes both ways. Same way no man should have to check with his wife before he takes a truck for a test drive. He should understand that as his money may also be her money so he needs to make sure she that the bills have all been paid and the food is in the fridge. But he should also already know that…
Women who think not are not marriage material. Period.
Yes, I do believe she should communicate this with her husband as no man with self-respect is just going to be okay with his wife pulling out her breast in front of anyone to feed the kid. And if so, then do it covered as this solves most issues.

Personally I don’t see why I need to ask my husband if I can feed my child. I’m an adult and can tell when my baby would need to be fed. I do like the cover idea because I wouldn’t like people seeing my boobs while I feed my baby but definitely not think I need to ask my husband for permission… each to their own I suppose!
@SaartjieJane I believe the premise of the question is not whether you should ask whether you can feed the child or not. It's not like any sane parent would just deny a child's feeding.
I believe the premise is not just pull out your titty anywhere for others to show as if you're at home. Like imagine your husband's friends are there and you're pulling out a breast and basically show too much than they need to now. Even though for you, you're feeding a child, but that doesn't stop the fact that you're still exposing one of your most intimate parts out to the world (or in this case, his friends). That's why I brought the idea of covering yourself. I don't think most men would have an issue if their woman is covered. Also less distractions for the kid.
I really didn't understand the question but I think she was asking permission to nurse. I have an 12 month old nursing and when she's hungry I either have a bottle of breastmilk or I give her tittie time. I don't ask anyone for permission and if you don't like what I'm doing then you can leave.
If I was a mother I wouldn’t turn to my husband every time to ask IF I can breastfeed my child. You best bet believe if my child is hungry that a tiddy is coming out. Of course if most likely use one of those cover ups as I don’t want people seeing that

A baby needs to eat when a baby needs to eat! Unfortunately there are times that no private place is available and the baby is one that throws off any cover you put over it. I certainly is best if the husband is comfortable with other men seeing her breasts in those circumstances.
What? In theory the husband already has intimate / carnal knowledge of his wife, so permission and embarrassment is somewhat absurd. Now? Breastfeeding is biologically and immunologically a very good thing, making the trifle of "permission" even more ridiculous. Think about it.
This is something that should be brought out of the way before you have a kid. Because it's understandable if you don't want your wife breastfeeding in front of random people but it's also understandable if you don't really care that much.
I personally don't care that much I mean obviously there should be limitations but at the same time feed the baby I don't care what other people think they can shove off.
If she’s doing her job I’m not that much of a micromanager. I need to know if my kid is eating and healthy, the particulars of when she feeds are up to her. Just like she doesn’t micromanage my jobs. She wants to know if a chore is complete or a check is coming so we can pay bills. The particulars don’t matter.
No she just feeds the child when she wants to and it needs fed.
fuck being asked all the time.
refuse to make decisions like that for another adult.
Sounds like the left. Everyone is so stupid we need to mansplain every thing to them and protect them from their own stupidity.
I think a mother is smart enough to make a good decision about her baby's welfare.
I'd think that's more between her and the baby then her and her husband, but I suppose being thoughtful is hardly an unreasonable thing. But, you know, priorities; health of the baby matters more than social discomfort.
No, and why should she? Baby has to be fed and if that happens then the husband (if he is with them) should just try to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
Baby gotta be fed when baby gotta be fed. You can't just pick and choose who to do it around. That isn't how it works
Helll no a woman should feed her baby whenever, wherever and however they want regardless of her husband's opinion
uh no? if OUR baby is hungry then I’m sure he’d want him/her fed, and it shouldn’t matter in front of who, I could always cover with a cloth so nothing is visible.
Sure. Let’s force women to stay pregnant, you know assuming a baby will come out of your rape mentality laws, JUST so she can ask permission to feed the thing
Makes sense lol
Nah. If my kids hungry I’m feeding her and I don’t give a shit who likes it or not.
I'd say just don't make a big public display of it. But no she shouldn't have to ask for something like that.
If he is uncomfortable with her exposing her breast in public I think it is reasonable for the husband to ask his wife to use a cover. But what is the point of asking who you can feed your child in front of?
If the husband's opinion doesn't matter... the relationship doesn't matter.
I think a mother knows who she can and can’t do certain things in front of. Breastfeeding is such a natural and beautiful thing.
So... it's a requirement to breastfeed IN FRONT of someone? :)
I think, I get the general idea now :D
If she has common sense, decency, and a little bit of Class it will not be necessary...
I will answer your Question with a Question.
Should a Man ask his Wife who he Shows His Penis too?
women don't need permission from men to feed their own child...
If a woman breastfeed in front of a random man she's a cheater.
she should have the respect and the dignity to ask her husband permission.
That would be a considerate thing to do. It wouldn't be required, but it would be appreciated. You would certainly earn points.
In the future, Umm no but why would I do it front of people I’m uneasy about to begin with.
It’s upto the mother to decide where’s she’s comfortable to breastfeed
Who ever she feels comfortable with, wouldn't bother me.
no there is nothing wrong with that at all, she has to say nothing
The child doesn't care and it's all about the child eating
She doesn’t have to, but it’s nice to have your partner’s opinion id think
Hell no she should just do it y should she have to ask
Do what you want but then don't get offended when I watch because I like women's breasts.
Of course she should, Im his wife and thats his child
It would not wrong or inappropriate if she did.
I can’t think of a reason why she should.
Well breastfeeding isn't anything sexual.
Nah as long as they r both loyal
If you cover up properly then no need to ask
It's up to the mother
Nope
That’s probably good idea.
Never
No I don't think so
Of course not
Um, no? WTF?
Yes, she should
What
breastfeed always
