WELP! I was born in the middle east in the middle of war, grew up while it was war, living the after math of it and left the country because of war when i was 20. I have seen a lot that i wish no one have to live nor see any of that. Plus i am christian and i lived in a muslim country and we been treated bad, fights and bullying on daily basis. What age? I remember being treated bad and seeing/hearing explosions since i was 4 years old.
When I was in 9th grade and I was at PE. Someone must have known/remembered the locker combination from a prior year because somebody got into my locker when I wasn't there and stole my lunch money. My family was too poor so it meant I had no money for lunch all week.
I realized that my parents couldn't always fix every problem then.
I never figured out who did it. I would have beaten them down if I knew who it was.
If we’re talking about trauma then it was probably back when I was 6-7. But if we’re talking about me experiencing the real world, it was right after I graduated college (during the job hunting process). I lived in a pretty secure and comfortable bubble where my parents were fully supporting me, we were also pretty well off until some shit happened and I started to really experience the real world without my comfortable cushion.

I guess when I was around 6yo, we were told that someone in our school had drowned in a nearby river and our school library was named in honor of them.
I was 5, and it was pretty traumatic.
