I’m an introvert who now wants to make friends but don’t know how. what to do?

I’m in a serious slump lol😂
I literally have only one friend, no kidding. Now while I do enjoy my own company, at times I feel as though I loose out on a lot of opportunities due to how introverted I am. I don’t even have an office job, I work from home and run my own business where I don’t have to talk to much people.

I recently went on a follow spree on IG and FB and added people I know from school etc. I haven’t seen these people in years by the way, I just want to make new friends now and build connections but I am still shy to make first moves.

What do you all recommend that I do? Thanks!
(I know this post seemed jumbled, but I took the opportunity to vent I suppose lol, I’m sorry if it was confusing to read)

Join some type of club or class like dancing or martial arts. It can be whatever really and that way it will basically force you to meet others and you being in that specific class you'll already have a common interest with the people there.

I would prefer if you reconnect with your old classmates and go for lunch or dinner and expand your social circle. Thats the only way. Or you can find someone here to socialize , someone who lives near your place

Meetup groups in/on like Hobby search. Do not miss a week whether it is soccer, book club, or singles etc...
