How do you make friends if you shy and not so outgoing?

I would join clubs that you enjoy like if you like reading, join the book club or if you like sports, join a sport like volleyball or tennis, if you like music, join band. That's the best and easiest way to make friends at your age. It will bring the shyness out of you and you will become naturally more social by being in something that forces you to be social.

I was shy at 13 too. The best advice I can give you is just be yourself! The people that vibe with you will be your true friends.
