What's the worst thing you've done due to peer pressure?

Too much dumb shit. One major thing, I fucked up my junior and senior yr in high school b/c I would skip class a lot and go w/my friends racing their POS Eclipse and Mustang and then we'd go party after. This Arab at a quick mart would sell us cigarettes so we started smoking at 16. I had to go to summer school to graduate on time. Then I ended up at a tech college in '03. One friend got pregnant and she went her own way started doing cocaine, but still had the baby. My other friend and I still partied a lot. I screwed up college by '06 and started working regular jobs. I could go on, but I know u asking 4 urself. Don't do stupid shit just to be cool. Go to school, get a decent job, find a responsible future significant other.

The only bad thing I ever did under peer pressure is say things I don’t mean like “It’s nice to meet you,” (when I’m not happy to meet them), or pretending to care about somebody’s feelings when I don’t care by faking sympathy with facial expressions, and when I was younger, I would reject friends if they were unattractive or unintelligent. I don’t really do that now cause I know it’s not a nice way to treat people who are not blessed with beauty or high IQ.

Me 100%. I'm a people pleaser so even if I don't like someone I act as if I do. It's something I need to change because otherwise I'm pretty up front and honest.

I used to pick on one of the nicest guys in my skool, just because everyone else did. Everyone else only did it because the guy never fought back. I eventually found him on FB and apologized for being such a jerk. He was impossibly gracious in accepting my apology. To this day, i’ve never seen or heard of him ever saying or doing anything mean to or about any other person. Now if there’s a hell, i’m certainly headed there. I’ve done a lot of bad things to otherwise good people. But i can justify, however poorly, at least my thoughts most of the time, and even my actions some of the time. But i can’t justify picking on Rusty. He’s just a real… good… person, and i should have been trying to be like him instead of the others.

I even got jumped when I was younger because I refused to smoke cigarettes with a few of the neighbor kids I hung out with back in the day. And 4 of them jumped me and tried to beat the shit out of me ( lucky me I’m a martial artist came in handy )

Unknown pills and misc drugs, fights, stealing, major theft, breaking and entering, arson, vandalism, etc. Didn’t grow up in the best part of town. I got out of that place as soon as I could, now I live a decently respectable life as a software engineer. Just thankful I never got caught or killed back then.

@D4nielv Well, in short, I lost my virginity. We were both drunk, I didn't really like him, I didn't want to, and I kept kind of saying no, pushing him away, but he either didn't notice or didn't care. It was sort of rape.

Seriously messed me up for a long time, and I'm not even sure I've recovered from how I felt.

@D4nielv The only reason I give it that caveat is because I'm pretty sure he DIDN'T NOTICE my protests in his (and my) drunken state. It was rape, yes, but he didn't force me down and fight me to have sex.

From some of the tales I've heard, I got off fairly easily. Still horrible, but he's not the kind of person who would've forced me (or anyone) to have sex with him, even while drunk.
