I rather be rich and rarely see my family. I do still would want to spend time with my partner and children, I still want to have a relationship, but I would be comforted knowing that they have their needs met/ dont need me there 24/7. There's nothing wrong with an average income (obviously) but I need to earn more than my friends and family. I want to be wealthier than them, and then wealthier than the next fellow. However far I can take it.

Having lots of money in the end it won't matter. Having a decent income with lots of time with family is the blessing.
