How to make friends here?

I'm new here. Can we make online friends and have conversations here? Just found this app on the app stores.

Yes, you can make friends on this site. The best way to do that is engage users on their questions and opinions. Find questions that interest you and you will find likeminded users that you can chat with, should they allow DMs.

Now, that is about the extent of a friendship on this site for most. We are an international community so there are people from all over. The odds of someone being close enough to you to actually meet is probably quite low.

That doesn't mean you can be friendly with people and get to know them. I have a small group of friends on the site that I chat with just about every day. They know everything about me, my life and what is going on.

Some I have shared voice recordings with just to say hi and for fun. The point is, get engaged in the community and you will start to build a reputation and "meet" people that you can be friendly with. That is why it is important not to post anon unless absolutely necessary. Posting anon, no one will know who you are. Good luck!

I've been on this app for a few years and can't say I've made friends. If you want friends to hang out with in person, best use meetup and facebook
