Is therapy more or less about accepting how to deal with other peoples bullshit?

I'm just now realizing this.

I'll admit in my sessions I feel heard for once. Listened to and a little reassured.

Mst issues revolve around how people treated me being young and growing up.

I had a issue with a girl from work. I know what she did. And I want to confront her about it.

My therapist suggested not confront her at work but tell her something like I double checked my work even someone else did, I was right in my work, can you tell me what I can do to not make that mistake again?

Excuse me.. WHAT!!
