Who likes cats?

You're kitty is so cute!
I love cats. I got my first one shortly after my wife and I got married over 25 years ago.
My wife had been wanting a pet, but we lived in an apartment and both worked full time, so I kept making excuses not to get a pet.
On morning, I was about to turn right onto a busy highway from a side street. To my left, I saw a movement on the white line. The traffic lights in both directions had just turned green and cars were coming. It was a tiny kitty frozen in fear. I jumped out of my car and ran to save it moments from certain death. It ran across the street with me right behind it as a tsunami of cars passed by in both directions.
I was working (driving from one assignment to another) but wasn't far from home. So I took the back to our place.
When my wife saw the tiny thing in my arms she cried "Oh! Can we keep her? Can we keep her?" I said "Of course."
Then my wife asked what we should name her. I had rescued her from Rosecrans Blvd in Manhattan Beach, Ca., so I suggested Rosecrans. My wife said we could call her Rose or Rosie for short.
We bathed her and made her comfortable. She was really frightened. A couple days later, though, she ventured out of her room and decided to adopt us.
We later took her to a PetSmart and paid $50 to officially adopt her and get her spayed and vaccinated. The doctor said she was 5 weeks old.
She turned out to be the best kitty ever. We kept her indoors because we lived in suburbs. We moved three times with her and, even once we bought our home in the country, we kept our girl indoors to keep her safe.
She passed away on Dec.10, 2019 at almost exactly 22 years. We loved her soooo much! She was our girl.
Once we were living in the country, we found out about voles. They were eating our garden. So we rescued two older girls, Kiri and Sofi, from a shelter. We let them out during the day and brought them in at night. We had to keep them in a spare bedroom, though, because Rosie wouldn't put of with other cats in HER house. They were sweet kitties.
One of them would sit next to me like a loyal dog when I sat on the front steps. The other would follow us when we took walks or worked in the garden.
Those two eventually passed away and we got two more, Tinker and Cassie, who were also sweethearts.
They, too, passed away after a few years.
Then some people gave us a very petite, chocolate-grown, purebred Burmese six year old. She's built like a mini-panther. We called her Coco. She's an indoor/outdoor cat. We had her and Rosie until Rosie passed away.
Almost a year ago, we got our first boy kittie. He was 8 weeks old. We named him Potus (orange man, get it? LOL) We call him Poatie. He's a super fluffy, marmalade-orange, part Maine coon. He weighs 15.5 lbs now. He's a really good kid but 5 lb Coco is terrified of him, so we keep them separated.
Every single cat has its own personality. They're affectionate and super entertaining. They like to play. They're soft, clean, cuddly and low maintenance. They don't get up tight when you leave for a day or two as long as they have food and water. They don't bark or threaten to attack people or other animals. You don't have to take them for walks. And they do a good job of eating mice and voles. Rosie would kill bugs and even two or three mice that got inside our house. Coco eats mice and voles and leaves their remains on our front door mat. LOL
I have a cat that is part Tabby and parts Siamese. She is a very smart cat. She knows when you're talking about her. When we first got her my wife and I were not familiar with having pets. So we kept her in the garage for a while and fed her and one day we accidentally left the garage door open to the house and she slipped into the basement and turned around it and passed around and then sat and looked right at us was like saying I would like to stay here in the basement. A few weeks later she graduated into the house. We have a child safety gate at the top of our stairs, my wife shut the gate to keep the cat at the lower level of the house. Cat walked over leaped up and jumped into the area where she was at. She's been with us for about 4 years now. She is a loving cat likes the attention when she desires it. She is also an outside cat, she is a great mouser. She also keeps the rabbit population down in around our house and neighborhood.

I had a cat... now I have a cat and two kittens, lol
they're a riot
Me too, I love cats! I had one when I was young (a black cat) and the rest of my family still looks after a handful, one of which is grey haired.
I saw a kitten in road today , it looked hungry and a mess. Cats are not my favorite. Ok if one comes by and says "yo' as long as he or she leaves.
Your cat saying , she still going with that fake blonde look with bangs
Yeah she is so
As is the case with people, I've liked some cats and didn't care for others.
I like 'em, but am allergic to them also,,, tough situation
