Do you share everything with your best friend or keep the details vague?

Details like what is happening everyday in your family, work (colleague, staff, or boss drama), how happy you are in life and other social circle stories.

I feel it's unsafe because a friend today could be an enemy tomorrow.

What are your thoughts?

i don't tell them anything. they don't need to know. because i think they will somehow use it against me to show that they're better than me, happier than me, and my mental health just cannot take that. i'm obviously not happy with where i am in life at the moment. don't think anyone knows except my partner. and i have this particular friend that brags about her life. so i'd rather not have them know how i'm doing. but then she goes on social media and complains about how sad she is and how no one cares. and i just sit there silently and ignore and keep scrolling. the people that act like they have it all, actually don't and they're so miserable.

I've known him for 15 years, I trust him with my life, literally and figuratively. What I do depends on the secrets he tells, to whom and why.

No I don't let too many people in if I'm going to share something with somebody at first it would be my passion my desire the things that I feel about them and that kind of shows who I am as a person and when that happens and that Bond or that trust becomes stronger then I let them in even further

True. I am starting to dislike my close friend because they tell me they're free at certain hours of the day and they urged me to call them but whenever I call during their free time, they say they're busy. Then bitch stop telling me you're free. At the end it all boils down to having to talk according to their convenience.
