Do you sometimes laugh in a wrong situation?

I tend to laugh when it is not always considered appropriate for many people.
I mean like in sad situations like funerals or when people hurt themselves or when I am told bad news. I don't find it funny but I can't help but laugh.

We Brits have a self deprecating sense of humour anyway so it's quite common to make light of dark situations.

Done it many times. One of many funeral moments was my Grandmother's funeral and her own son's in their 50's/60's themselves put 'IOU's in the church collection tray as it was passed around.

Too many to mention but special mention to a poor woman who clearly wasn't comfortable riding a bike and was clearly aware she was being watched. We could see it was going to happen before it did. She rode straight into a wall. Of course we were crying laughing.

At a little kids birthday party with parents and relatives a balloon popped this guy leapt out of his chair in fright I laughed out loud he stormed outside He was an Aghan war vet 😑

My co-worker and I had THE best relationship at work because the two of us would laugh at all the wrong times. In meetings, when people got hurt (not badly of course), and the worst was when our boss was quitting, she was making a speech in front of all the staff where she was giving her tearful goodbye and we lost it. I looked at my co-worker and it like triggered the laughing so bad we had to fake like we were upset and leave so we could finish laughing outside the room.

I did so tonight. I worked in our jail's attorney visit booth, which means we help the attorneys get in touch with inmates. One had the last name "Coc-Chubs". And no, that is not made up. Anyways, I read the name out loud and 2 seconds later laughed on the phone with the attorney when I finally comprehended what I had just said. Even the attorney cracked up. I had to apologize and explain that I was not trying to laugh at her client's name. When my lieutenant asked what cracked me up, I showed him the name. He went to his office and I could hear him trying to hide his laughter.

FYI it is pronounced "Coke-chubs", not "C**k-chubs".

One time during an online DnD session, I had to mute my mic because I was laughing way too hard over one of the players getting into a huge fight with her mom...

To be fair, her pet parrot was also screaming at the same time, and the rest of the party + DM just tried to continue the session as normal and pretend the noise wasn't there. The chaos felt comical to me.

Well I was giving a grave site for my church member. They had the military there it was raining. The poor Soul was sitting one one check the chair was top small. The 7 military guys shit their rifles off for the 21 gun sulltite. The lady her the guns go off surprised her so much she sprung out of that chair and fell in the mud.

Now girl me and the furarial director was somewhat professional. We let everyone leave and then laugh out butts off is that kinda like you?

I always laugh at the worst times. There was one time I got a joke a little too late without really paying attention to where the conversation had gone and ended up appearing to laugh about someone’s medical condition.

I'm amused by the dilemma of life and laugh at it. I have been laughing at all of my problems as that's the natural response. Whenever I get sad news or something big hit on life I always thought well that's new and I seen it in life then laugh.

My mind jumps from tangent to tangent, so I could be at a funeral where the deceased is in a black suit and my mind will have jumped to kindergarten where a kid split his black pants showing his cartoon underwear.
