Do you think that the in laws should have to get involved or have an opinion on matters of theri respective spouses?

When it comes to family issues of the spouse? Like personal, or decision issues?

For instance like if you are married and your husband (if noone had asked him for an opinion even if he may have more experience on the subject) is stepping in giving opinions on things that inolve his spouse mom or issues that related to his spouse mom and siblings.

Unless they are directly impacted I would say no.

So if the decision involves your spouse's life or fiances or anything that might impact the kids then yeah the in-law spouse should have a say.

If the topic is something else entirely where the in-law or their kids are not impacted then no they should no to avoid meddling

I had this doubt is about my brotehr in law. He is a lawyer and he is giving ideas or opinions on things he has not been asked to give an opinion, even if he wants to help. He is giving opinions on his wife (my sister), family about some money and family porblems, my sister family (aunts, cousins) are having with a ranch. I believe he should stay out of it it is not of his concern

If it involves your sister's money, therfore could impact his children's money and he's actually a lawyer who knows what he's talking about then as long as your sister is letting him speak he he's not meddling this is what I mean when I said it's meddling when it's non of his business.

No, in-laws have no responsibility to get involved in the personal affairs of their child and their partner.

If the couple wants to solicit their opinion on something (s), that's fine, but otherwise the in-laws should mind their own business.

No they should live an hour long drive away or more. And depends on the situation I prefer minimal interference but in some cases it does matter

When I said spouses i mean married people not girlfriend/boyfriend but the husband or the wife will want to get involve in family issues of his wife or her husband life (not love related)
