Something u thought was normal when u were kid that actually wasn't?

When I was younger I thought it was normal for father's not to live with their families and it was normal for them to have kids with multiple other women and visit them. I always found it weird that my aunt's husband would sleep their whenever I spent summer holidays at her house. But as I got older I soon realized it wasn't weird but I was just in the wrong train of thought the entire thought.
