lmfao... okay
you know about Mexican rice? I kid you not, I was late 20's when I actually realized, ACTUALLY REALIZED fully that, NOT everyone in the world eats rice this way
there's millions of people who cook the rice white, and even bland... or more plain, but at least in most of Mexico, surely in my life... rice is never completely ready unless it has color and a rich flavor, lmao... most of my life, I didn't actually thought much of it, in a way I just assumed everyone had great dishes of rices by default... lol
@NathanDavis I am the opposite of this I was 20 or so when I realised that other places did rice that was not basmati or pilau etc. I mean spicy rice…
Everyone I knew just did white rice and then poured some sort of gravy on it lol. Wasn't until I went to a Chinese takeout place the first time that I saw yellow colored rice with stuff cut up in it.
gravy... lmao
Mexican rice, chicken... and mole sauce, that can be heaven for me...
Sleeping in jeans, as I never knew so many people thought that they're uncomfortable.
I do not always do it, but I have plenty of times, since I will be so tired that I do not give a shit about what I wear. It's when you're tired to the point it feels euphoric to be lying on your back on your bed.
So, I guess I never found them uncomfortable, since I am used to wearing them a lot.
Being ignored by a parent as a punishment (no talking, feeding, taking me to extracurriculars). I learned when I was a teenager that this was a form of abuse.
Oh it absolutely is.
Remembering details of everything I saw... in school I discovered that photographic memory isn't so popular as I thought :D
Wow, I wish I could be the same
Yeah I wish I had that.
It's not really convenient... it makes a trash bin from your memory. Learning how to consciously forget stuff was hell...

I thought it was normal to dip pancakes and waffles in egg yolk. My whole family does it. I go to ihop once with friends and I do it. They all looked mortified and I couldn't figure out why
I dip as well
I've never heard of that, but I used to put a raw egg in my milkshakes when I was a teenager as a source of protein. Did it once in front of my wife when we were initially dating and she lost her mind and screamed at me until I dumped the milkshake out. She couldn't believe I was going to eat a raw egg.
You do it with egg in the baskets. Waffles aren't really any different in my opinion.
I regret nothing for it is yummy!
Egg in the basket is one of the best breakfasts ever.
In the passenger seat or back seat of the car, while the music was playing... I'd be making up a dance in my head and seeing myself perform it lol. New dance for every song
I've done this as well. Heard a song and put together routines in my head.
That everyone flushes the toilet after they use it🤣🤣🤣🤢
Ewww
It's pretty gross. I was at the airport last weekend and chanced upon a toilet with a pretty big mess. Sorry for the answer, it's the first thing that came to my mind.
To desire intimacy at the same quality and frequency as me
1-3x a week
Yeah I'm asking too much
1 to 3 times isn't a lot
That sounds like sexual incompatibility
Couples therapy
Being naked at home. Everyone in my family was naked all the time when we were home. I thought Everyone did it until I went over friends houses and they always wore clothes
Look at you Mr naked man lol
That's how I was brought up
I'm not complaining
I didn't think you would complain
That all women had mustaches! Turns out, it was just the women within my family.
When I was a little kid, I thought everyone spoke English, like me. As I got older, I realized that there are many other languages that people speak, and it's fun to learn them... at least try to.
Only talk about sex with people you´re in a relationship with. That´s something I had to learn while online dating that people talk about that while figuring out if a person is the right partner.
Un-aliving thoughts. I thought for years that everyone had those thoughts often, just never acted on them. But nope. Apparently most people don’t have those thoughts.
I did not think it was normal at all, but as part of an initiation I had to eat a balut. Yuck!!
That everyone was okay with sarcasm and humour, it appears it’s not a global thing. I guess I read too much into ‘All the worlds a stage and all the men and women are put players’ …. Just some have zero sense of humour and are too literal.
Yeah, some people can't even pick up on sarcasm at all. It's like it doesn't even exist to them.
I thought certain elected and/or appointed officials were decent at the core, just on a human and humane level, but I've learned many of them are just purely evil.
My mom. It took me until I was 28 to realize that everything she ever told me was just blatantly and factually wrong or twisted.
Sterilize my аrmpits with a uv lamp instead of washing them. This way they don't smell like bаcteria but keep their phеrоmones.
Sucking toes/getting your toes sucked. Lmao.
The obsession with having lighter skin as a Latina. No kid should be using bleaching soaps or lotions. My aunts always were on us about not looking dirty. It was so racist.
Thought it was normal to talk about your feelings as a guy but after I moved no one seemed to think that
@mandyfire98 i thought government systems were normal
Dreaming of participating in wars of different eras, and it not being nightmares but rather the best dreams I had.
Good question. I think its asking as much questions as I want the first time I joined this website.
Toothpaste being spicy
You got spicy toothpaste?
Oh wow
Same! I thought mushrooms were supposed to be spicy, it wasn’t until I was fifteen that I had mentioned it and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Turns out I’m allergic to them to them. The doctor told me that in a lot of cases of certain foods causing heart burn is an allergic reaction.
@Beckybooboo Yup, for me it was very similar where I discussed it to my friends and nobody could relate. I was getting more and more food allergies to at the time, once I cut mint out the other ones went away.
Pineapple on pizza… 🤔🥺🍕
That’s just so wrong 😜🤣🤣🤣
