Definitely people’s speech idiosyncrasies. Sometimes they’re speech impediments, which I feel badly about😅 Not stuttering or anything, but there are certain brands of lisps that irk me, inside.
I’ve been watching some of this dude lately, very smart guy with sharp psychological analysis, but the way he talks kind of bugs me, especially when he says “s” sounds…
https://www.youtube.com/embed/NL1zuhgcHaYI HATE when people lean into “Ls” and kinda like…”flick” them, if that makes sense. Like this guy saying “Lakers”…. i absolutely CAN’T😖😖😖

The invented leadoff H gets me too. The “hhhwho, hhhwhat, hhhwhen, hhhwhere, and hhhwhy” folks…
If you’re a grammar nerd, you’ll know them as “gerunds”, and if not, “i-n-g words” (walkING, talkING, etc). I can’t stand when people put a hard-G on it. As I was taught it, you aren’t supposed to round out the ‘G’ and hear it. “Walking”, not “walking-GUH”🤦♂️ It’s probably just a regional thing, or maybe how somebody’s nasopharynx is built ($100 word😎) and I’m being an asshole, lmao, but I hate it.
Also gerund-related, and also maybe a regional thing I’m just being douchey (and in this case, wrong) about…. I don’t really like a clean, silent-G “-ing” fully pronounced anyway. In my accent, it’s ALWAYS a more informal “-in’ “ (walkIN’, talkIN’, etc). So when people say it the true way it’s meant to be said, it rubs me the wrong way and I’m like “lose the tweed jacket with the suede elbow patches, DORK🙄”
Also in “lighten up and have a beer, Professor”: crisply pronounced “Ts” bother the absolute fuck out of me. There’s a lady who’s a financial analyst named Cathie Wood, and she speaks EXACTLY how I’m pretty sure American English is meant to be spoken, but I just can’t take it. She’ll say something like “liTTle”, using every bit of both Ts. I much prefer it smoothed out like “liddle.” Like “little” and “middle” rhyme for me, but they don’t for her, if that makes sense. I also accept “Ii’l.” But she sounds like a kindergarten teacher trying to teach me the word for the first time and doesn’t want me to get confused on how to spell what I’m hearing. Hair-pullingly bad to me😂 I think that’s related to my native accent too.
HOWEVAAAHHHH…. just to show some balance…. around here, we of course famously drop our ‘Rs’ in a lot of places…. but what many out-of-towners don’t know is that we bank them to put them in places they never existed. I don’t say, especially in a counterargumentative context, “yeah, I did”, but instead, I say “Yerr’I did.” No idea why, lmao, I just do. Some people I know say “ideaR” instead of “idea”, or “tuner” for “tuna.” “Lemme heahh yah’r’ideaR”, totally might hear that said in Boston😂 But the subgenre of local accent around here that says “idear” and “tuner”, I don’t care for that aspect of it.
Also, if you have a stuffy/runny nose, please do not attempt communication with me. Makes me skin crawl.
There’s definitely something wrong with me, I’m a “high-functioning” “something”for sure, this is not normal😂😂😂
Something normal I secretly criticize?
Hollywood I guess.
So, Hollywood and other industries will always do thing that they feel will bring a profit / hit a certain string with people’s mindset & motivation to buy into a franchise, movie, TV series, etc. and stick to that formula when it is comfortable for them. Yea they might’ve had real bangers / classics from not being afraid to try something new however now it is more difficult for them since they have now a more global audience & so much tapped talent / properties to choose from. Rather make something new that fails, they bring back something that worked. A real tried and true method which corrodes the heart of the medium into a soulless shell of its former self… The golden age is dead.
This is my view though, it isn’t because of “Insert Right Wing Dog Whistle Here”. It is because of key decisions that are for the express purpose of money. They might include more diversity (which is a great thing to see since everyone feels heard & seen which should continue to grow), people just blame this on DEI & LGBTQ+, and other culture war BS because that is what they want to believe instead of understanding on a deeper level. I never say it though now it is out there.
*Edit Don’t listen to idiots, if you want to watch a show or movie or franchise you do you. If you want to enjoy the “golden era classics” then go do that without spreading hate. Enjoy what you enjoy from white to black to LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️, watch what brings you joy even if it is something modern because at the end of the day it is entertainment and I’m sure a lot of people find them entertaining. Thank you and have a beautiful rest of the weekend then a great week ahead.

I guess I am a pretty judgmental person 😄
I judge women with small asses wearing scrunch leggings.
Small asses are very normal. There is nothing wrong with having a small ass. But the scrunch leggings were not made for you and are doing absolutely nothing for you , you just look like a toddler wearing one of those frilly diaper covers.
lol I didn’t know that there were others who felt this way.
100% agree lol

The way how people act in public. The stuff I seen how people act and function is unbelievable.
Anal. I know a lot of guys who talk about it and crave it like the characters in dune crave water. It's just gross to me, I don't want shit on my dick, when women ask for it it grosses me out (though that is admittedly extremely rare). When guys brag about it it makes me uncomfortable.
A lot of people do it, but I still think it's gross, and the same words come to my mind every time. Shit dick. You covered your dick in shit and you're smiling about it. If you're gay, I get it, lack of choices for holes there. I judge straight guys who are into it though.
Hmmm... in general I try to not be too judgmental, but if I had to pick at least one thing...
People that don't even bother with the most basic of hygiene and cleanliness.
You don't need to be perfect or anything but I'm talking like people who take a huge stinky dump, refuse to wash their hands, and then go eat a big meal with those same dirty hands. Even worse if it's food they hold with their actual hands like pizzas, hamburgers, or hot dogs.
People who piss all over public toilet seats or piss on the floor. People who right in front of you clean their glasses with their spit and then wipe it on their shirt.
Like come on people, at least do the BARE MINIMUM of hygiene...
And it's kind of funny how defensive and arrogant those same people get when you point out their nasty habits. Even if you do it in a very polite gentle way.
People standing in line but don't know how!!! Just cause the counter is in front of the first person on line DOES NOT MEAN that #2-whatever HAVE TO LINE UP behind #1 person thereby blocking THE WHOLE AISLE/WALKWAY/HALLWAY!!! Just bend the line 90° and line up along the wall so you don't block everyone moving through the aisle/walkway/hallway!!!
I cannot convey how much this enrages me and I judge ALL OF THE PEOPLE in line for not being smart and self aware enough to do this one simple courtesy!! It just doesn't make ANY sense!!!
Driving, it's just not needed here. Public transport is alright here so why is one wasting money on a car.
Now if they a family I get it. But you be single and driving? I secretly judge it here. Seems like a waste of money. This judgement obviously depends on many things like also if your disabled or in some part where driving is needed like many places in America or country side etc.
I don't think I secretly do it I think it just happens it's natural.
The moment I start talking to somebody I look into their eyes I want to feel their heart and I want to feel their energy I want to know exactly who they are and it's just something that happens.
But at the same time I don't tell anybody about it I keep it to myself.
Everybody has good qualities no matter who you are whether it comes from your heart or even the outside of your body
I try to look for the positive in everybody because I know it's there
I try not to. It doesn't do me any good. But I struggle with judging people who make decisions that I think are obviously bad.
Also drivers, I can be a judgy driver
I think we've all been judgy while driving from time to time.
I secretly dislike people who have casual sex
Why do you think it bothers you so much?
They don’t value emotional attachment and may spread STIs
I always judge the quality of other electricians work. It's normal for me but it might not be normal for other people
I remember the Three way thing lol
oh, houses gonna be fully and properly wired, lights on at every floors oO
@Maybe_Maybe_not I'm definitely going to light up someone's life
That is a risk though, when someone's life is already lit, giving it more lighting up could very much burn. Which would be incompatible with your line of work
Bad tattoos 😂 people who go to cheap artists or get work done in someone’s shed. It’s permanent, why would you not want to go to a professional and get good work done? It’s worth the investment.
superficial relation to the world, where in reality I can't possibly evaluate that
Music. I prefer amateurs doing their best to "professionals" using software to sound good.
Voters.
I tend to prejudge Honda drivers before they actually do something on the road.
Better asking me what I don't judge, dude :)
People who compulsively say sorry. I’m just someone who expects changed behavior if there’s going to be an apology. I like to surround myself with people who are more intentional with how they speak and act.
Self sabotage and generally not having a sense of direction in life.
People lying on their beds with their shoes on, it is so unpleasant to see.
I judge and hate know-it-alls, which is about (……) percent off the
You fill in blank
slow drivers lol. sorry, im one of those types.
People's level of common sense. I have little tolerance for stupidity.
I don't know if it is normal, but I judge littering, which is, unfortunately, common.
People who constantly suck their lips or take big swallows every time they speak a sentence. by the way I’m not referring to speech impediments that would be cruel.
When people are carrying extra fat because they don't take good care of themselves 😅
Peoples bad eating habits, bad fashion choices, and cult mentality.
