+1 yI actually dont like dolls, barbie or other girl toys..
My mom bought me big winnie the pooh doll
Literally same and as big as this
She bought it on my birthday.. can't remember what age but it was around age 8 or 9..
BUT because im not a doll person, so it only lasted around 8 months on my bed to make her happy and then moved it into store room..
16 years later, which mean last year, my mom passed away.. i washed this big winnie for few times cuz it was so dusty and dirty and the doll still looks good like brand new.. i suddenly feel sad and regret it, i was a dumb kid.. i felt shitty as hell when i washed the doll.. cuz why did i put it in the store room, its my birthday gift from my mom.. my fav person on earth.. my loml.. and i abandoned it in store room.. it was nothing but then something after she's gone, thats why i washed, moved it out the store room and put it inside our living room. So i could always remember the childhood moment with her..
Im sorry i got teary eyed while i wrote my story
So the winnie is 17years old right now.. should make license soon tho10 Reply

I probably have about 3. 24, or so, if I add up all the 'stuffies' of both me and my mum. They're all in bags in a storage locker, unfortunately. I don't want them out in my place, but I can't bare to throw them out either. They represent childhood for me, and my mum's personality (she lived mostly in a fantasy world and always wanted more of it.)

When my mom passed away, my sister found it in a box and gave it to me. It was ways smaller than I remember it. All the velour is work off of the brown fabric, and it has buttons for eyes that my mom sewed on when the originals fell off. I have Teddy stored away as a keepsake.
My wife has a big, floppy, soft, light-colored Teddy bear with shaggy fur that she cuddles with when she's sleeping.10 Reply

Nu, rhino means nose in Greek. Didn’t triceratopses have horns on their honkers?

+1 yI don't remember how many in the basement.. think there's like.. 5 or something.
But I have a main teddy in my bedroom by my nightstand. I've had him for as long as I remember.
I've had him with me when I traveled through my life and everything10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. I must confess to having close to 100 and still getting bigger... The oldest being around 90 years old, which has been handed down from my beloved late Grandmother, to my mother and now on to me... He's now so old that I daren't let our son have him, so he's kept nice and safe in one of our glass display cabinets along with many of his friends.

+1 yI have 1 that my grandmother gave me when I was 3 years old. She had it in her hutch in the living room. I was told that I was crying for some reason and nothing stopped me until she gave me that bear. It's a steif bear and it's very valuable but I'd never sell it.

@AndrésC64 it's sentimental to me. I'll take it to my grave or give it to my grandchild if I ever get one

My now wife but then girlfriend can read the writing on the wall and smell the bullshit a mile away and stood up to her/called her out within the first few times they saw eachother. It went downhill from there. Then my brother married his wife’s father’s money and rode his coattails into a hospital boardroom while I was recently separated from the Navy and broke. My mother needed to pick the winning horse that was going to be a better provider for her in retirement than the deadbeat recovering alcoholic ex con that she married who decided he’d rather do three terms in the big house then give her or the kids a dime after she divorce raped him. So she let it be known in no uncertain terms where her loyalties lie and who she felt was a better long term winner, and it wasn’t me. I had one chance to co e over and pick up everything I wanted that I could fit into a 2005 Civic, and that was it. Good riddance her house stank of multiple neglected cats anyways😆

+1 yI kept a lot of bears from my kiddie days so I would say, I own at least 30 stuffed animals, maybe more. My old Barbie toys are long gone and my bears are for entertaining my friends toddlers.

More than 25 Build-A-Bears. All of them are from when I was 10 or younger, except my best friend got me a Frodo Baggins one for my birthday this year. I also have several Christmas ones that go up just before Thanksgiving.
