Best friend being mad all the time?

We have been best friends for 5 years and recently became room mates but my best friend keeps getting annoyed at the least and would yell or get mad and tells me it's because I irritate her but that's how I'm I like joking around etc. this happened for like 3rd time in a week. What should I do?
