As you get older do you keep your personal life privet?

Most of the people I grew up with at school had become very envious of other people they use to be friends with. I never give details of my personal life to avoid drama. Now a days I just keep to myself. Do you keep your personal life privet?

I think most people do that as they get older. I know I do. There are certain details I will share with certain people if I feel like I can trust them, but overall I prefer not to let a lot of people know what goes on in my private life, who I'm messing with, what my goals are, etc. I don't like being the topic of gossip among family members or co-workers.

When I was younger I used to post a lot of stuff on Facebook, but given the direction politics have taken and just society overall I’ve realized how important privacy is. So now I’m intensely private outside my family and friend circle. I don’t post personal things online or discuss my private life with my coworkers.

I do, even the minor details that don't matter. My business is just that, MY business. So many people have sadly undervalued personal privacy and that will come with regrets.

Off this sight I keep everything as private from everyone as I can except my nearest and dearest. I trust almost no one and therefore keep my business private.


The more I study the Bible the more I realize humans are trash, myself included. The more I look at society the worse I notice society becoming. It’s full of the self absorbed, sociopathic, narcissistic, and degenerate. As values we once held are washed away society becomes more full of reprobates.


What is my point? Just this. Information and knowledge is power. I limit information about me as the types mentioned above use information as weapon. The less you know of me the less you can do to me. The more I hide my thoughts and feelings and intentions, the more of a mystery I am. I have no intention to change this. I’m happy as I am. The older I get the more I find I dislike people. So, yes, as I’ve gotten older I’ve become more private and will continue to do so. I seek to interact with others as little as possible except my nearest and dearest and value privacy.
