Why are you spending Thanksgiving alone?

if you didn't live all the way across the country you could come to my house. There was one year when I worked for a big high tech company that I had 3 interns that worked in my lab. One was from India another was from Peru and there was a girl who was from California. These kids had no place to go for Thanksgiving so I invited them to come to my house. They really had a nice time. They were playing video games with my kids and had one of my wife;s legendary Thanksgiving dinner. I think it was the best Thanksgiving we ever had.

I'd invite you over, we invited another single friend. We have a large group of family as we are hosting. I've spent some holidays alone. Best solution is to find like others or family you know and join. Other option is to go serve others in some way and connect with people. Or just have a good workout. You could also invite singles you know... to dinner.

I never even thought about it until you asked this question. I just asked my mini what day Thanksgiving was. Mini said it's on a Thursday. So I'll be at my brother's place. His dog loves me. One of them can read.

I'm sorry! That's terrible news. Anywhere to go? And, if the answer to that question is no, can I recommend going to a VFW (if you're in the U. S.). There'd be some veterans there who might enjoy your company.

Yep! As of almost 2 years ago, I'm all by my lonesome from here on out, as far as I know!

Have you considered inviting people over? Maybe a few friends or a small family?

I had to do this once, go volunteer somewhere, you'll be around a ton of other people and everyone has a big Thanksgiving dinner when the work is done.
