While driving my patrol truck I was hit by a drunk driver last night. Just a few hours ago another member of my unit had his patrol truck rear ended by a car with a drunk driver, sending five to the hospital (including our guy).

Five injuries and two patrol trucks totaled.

Not a good start to the holidays.

Yeah, but this chick totaled my patrol truck, so I'm stuck with a beat up pool truck 🤬. I called the State Patrol who responded immediately and she got a Thanksgiving DUI. My friend who was hit by a drunk (rear ended), hit him doing 65+, which sent him to the hospital. I was shocked by how many impaired drivers I have seen these last few days.
