At this time of year, I fondly remember my ancestor Richard Warren, who arrived at Plymouth Colony in 1620. He was one of the financiers of the mission and the only financier who actually travelled to America. Therefore, he was most certainly at the very first celebration of Thanksgiving.

His wife and five daughters came from England in 1623, and his wife then had two sons, making them some of the earliest inhabitants actually born in America. He died in 1628 but his children all survived, married, and had large families.

Was Dr. Warren, the Boston physician who developed anesthetic one of his decedents?

We visited Plymouth 2-3 years ago, and walked around an old cemetery. We noticed the last name Warren in that cemetery.
