Don't think it's for a month. I'm really tempted to agree to go to my mother in law's Thanksgiving this year. She wants a big one with all the family and I'm hoping this year she will be less bitchy and critical if her daughters and daughter inlaws are there, at least they can take some of the heat off me and i won't turn nasty tell her where to get off. I really could do without organising Thanksgiving dinner especially as it's not something we celebrate back home. I've tried hard to learn how to cook some American dishes but apparently they aren't up to scratch.
A little early for Thanksgiving, isn't it?
to @yesterdayschild "Refugees fleeing the civil war in the United States brought the custom of an annual Thanksgiving festival to Canada" it spread and in October since 1931.
@strateguy632 Same celebration, different day.
I am not looking forward to the food next month but at least I'll be with friends. My brother and I go to my friend's mom's house because all our family is gone, and she never lets us bring food. My brother and I are good cooks. Her and all her friends can't cook worth a damn but we always tell them everything was great. I ask every year if they want me to cook something and bring it over so one of the old ladies doesn't botch it.
mine? is far weeks in future. i was gonna correct your mistake like many replied here already.
