If you have siblings, do your heights decrease the younger you are?

I had a brother and two sisters, in that order, me being the oldest and the tallest, the others were shorter by age.

Nope. I'm the youngest and the tallest. My oldest brother is about an inch shorter than I am. The middle brother is probably about four inches shorter than me.

Nope. Granted we’re not all related. Oldest is about 5’9 or 5’10 youngest is 6’ my twin brother is 5’7” and I’m down here at 5’3”

It DOES tend to help tings grow! I might've had too much! Mom always said I was growing like a bad weed!! I'd get pants for Christmas and they'd be too short for me 5 months later!!

Damn!! I'm 6' 9". My best friend is just under 5' tall and she's in her late 30's. One of my aunts was only about 5' tall and she died just before she turned 100. She got around like a teenager!! even I had trouble keeping up with her!! And I tend to walk fast!!

She had a huge 3-story house that she took care of all by herself (after her hubby died) and was still a fantastic cook!! And, she had macular degeneration! Sadly, her kids swindled her into being put into a nursing home!! Had they not done that, I'm SURE she would've lived past her 100th by several years!!

Oh no that’s awful. Assisted livings and Long term cares can be good but more often than not they make the client dependant on their care. They stop doing things for themselves and go downhill fast.

She certainly did!! They tricked her into going and, if she talked to them about her situation, she told them she loved it but, moments later, she'd call up my mother (we lived a block away from her house), she'd cry and tell mom how much she hated it!! One of her kids took a picture of her in the home a few months before she died and she looked HORRIBLE!!! Her hair was all frizzed out, she looked like she could hardly stay awake and there tubes going up her nose and in her mouth!!
While taking care of mom at home after she had her stroke, I had an accident that tore my right bicep and it''s still not healed up after nearly 7 years! Because I hurt it twice more over the next 2 weeks trying to help her, it was decided she'd go to a home for 5 days to let my arm heal. While there, she told one of her nurses she needed to pee and the nurse refused to come around to help her with that for several hours!! Her older sister (who used to run a retirement home) heard about this and complained and, after that, service got even worse!! Mom couldn't WAIT to get back home!!

As she should. Yeah no there are some really good homes and others are awful. My mom tore her bicep when my dad was sick and dying it’s still not healed and it’s been a couple years. No chance of surgery because it’s not fully torn

From what I was told, they wanted to shoot me up with steroids to fix it. I don't think I want that in me!! For the most part, I can use my arm as normal, it's the one I do all my typing and other things with. But, I can't turn it certain ways, anymore. When I'm done cooking and have to shut the gas off (at the main) I HAVE to use my left hand because I can only go about half way with my right, and it only take a 1/4 turn to shut it off! I've had to learn to wipe lefty! I don't think it's hurt my drumming at all, though. Maybe on a song like, 'We're Not Animals" or "Balancing Act" where I use it for a lot of cymbal work it might be a problem but, I don't think I've tried playing either one since I got hurt.

Probably a cortisone shot, they do help but it’s a short term solution for a long term problem. I’ve had to get them in my knee from when I fucked it up

I've heard of that but never had any. There's GOTTA be SOMEONE out there that know how to fix this!! I know of people that cure cancer (did it myself, twice!), practically cure strokes, re-grow chopped off fingers and probably re-grow missing teeth!! Maybe MMS can fix it for me!! I'll have to look into getting some!

MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement) is this liquid that will supposedly cure every ailment you have. But, it's really hard to come by. I recently found someone that knows how to make it, I just have to go get the ingredients. You just put a couple drops of each of two parts into a glass, mix them around, fill it with water and drink it.
Yes, shortly after I hurt it, I went to the hospital to see about getting it fixed and, like I said, they wanted to shoot me up with steroids. I still don't even know HOW I hurt it! All I did was put it behind me to stop my laptop from hitting the ground! It was my left arm that took the beating in the fall!!

Edema is swelling and retention of water/fluid. Typically in the small vessels leaking. Most causes are medication, infection and pregnancy (which can be ruled out lol) if you’re on any medications it could be causing water retention. Do you have any issues with kidneys and urination? Nearest I can tell, it's from the many hours I had to stand at the print shop 15 years ago. I was in charge of the calendars account that we got every year and would take 9 or 10 months to complete. I had to stand in one place assembling the calendars by hand. Other times, I had to stand doing shipping or feeding some of the machines we used. That's when I first noticed the cold liquid rush down the inside of my left leg!! Now, I spend most of my time sitting!
I never took any meds until I started retaining water. I've been on water pills ever since and, just 2 months ago, they put me on Xoralto and a blood pressure pill. Otherwise, all I WAS taking was a baby aspirin once a day. In the meantime, I've been to at least 5 doctors that CLAIM they can help me but, so far, all they've done is look at me and go, "Yep, edema! NEXT!!". One guy I was sent to this summer did NOTHING but stare at my feet for 5:00!! I was TOLD that he'd be able to deal with all my ills in that area!! I wonder when he's gonna start?

Do you do any exercises to work on it and try to move it. For some people edema is normal but should be looked at. Pitting edema is worse (and terrifying). But output and intake is good otherwise? Kidneys functioning normally and no chance of a bladder infection or UTI?

I try to put my feet up for 20:00 a few times a day and, if I'm listening to music while I'm eating, I pretend I'm playing double bass drums to the beat of the music. I was forced to live where I am now and there's just NO PLACE up here to take long walks that don't include steep hills!! At MY house, I could walk a few miles up to the mall & back every couple days and was always running up to the 3rd floor to get records or books for recording projects!!
I wear compression stockings most of the time but, some days, I just never get to it or don't have any to wear because they're in the wash.
i never had edema until about 15 years ago. It started out as just two little brown dots on my ankles and now is almost covering everything up to my knees.

Well, I guess I don't drink as much water as I should but, sometimes the water pills have me going several times a day, sometimes they only make me go once or twice!
I DID have a UTI years ago, probably before this started but, I seriously doubt it had anything to do with the edema. I used to know what caused it but don't recall anymore. Last time I took blood tests, about 3 months ago, they all game back good if not great so, as far as I know, no kidney or bladder issues.

Hmm strange. Sucks that you can’t walk much now due to circumstances. I try to walk at least 15k steps a day. And I try to hike at least once a week if I can but it’s not always possible. Try to increase water intake, maybe do some small exercises like bending your knees and maybe lunges if possible

Pitting edema is water retention but when pressure is applied it leaves an indentation. So if someone is pressing their hand say into your thigh an imprint of their hand will be visible and may not go away. Think of it like sand you press your hand into flat sand and it leaves an imprint.

Directly across the street from me is a hill, about 7 houses to the right is a hill, about 5 houses to the left is a hill, behind me is a wooded hill that I can't exactly access anymore (a bit too steep and loaded with limbs and weeds and possibly deer ticks). Almost any time I WANT to go out for a while, it's either cold or pissing rain!! Inside, the house is so full of my aunt's shit i can't even move in the basement anymore (when I was a kid, I could play and dance!), if I had the room down there, I'd bring up my drums and have a bash a few times a week!
I've recently started taking a drink every time I come back from a whiz but, sometimes I just forget. Besides, I'm kinda like a camel, I can go for hours without a drink.
My knees are almost always bent. Even when I sleep.
I don't know what lunges are.
Oh! I've had that for years but, it's only on my lower calves and feet and the "pitting" goes away after a couple minutes. One of the guys I saw this summer poked me with a pin and said there was a LOT of fluid coming out! What I hate is, sometimes, I can just TOUCH something with my legs and causes the top layer to peel off a pit and then that just oozes for days, if not weeks!!

Pitting edema is a little worse than that but it could be on its way to pitting. Lunges are essentially where you put one leg forward and bend it, while extending the other leg. And then do the same. It stretches out calf muscles and quad muscles and gets the circulation going. If that’s not possible maybe wander the house if possible like do a lap or two and then return to whatever you’re doing

I see. At MY house, I could do that but, this house is a lot smaller and there's either a door or wall at the bottom of the steps so, I couldn't possibly stretch out, being 6' 9". MAYBE in the living room!! But, that's loaded with my aunt's junk now, too!! All I've got is a path!!
Part of the thing is, I'm not sure who to trust! There's one guy on YT that claims that if I do certain slapping "exercises" on my feet & legs it'll help. His name is, Austin Goh. So, I tried that for a while and then started seeing these therapists and told them about it and they said it's not gonna help but, everybody that comments on his videos says it DOES help! What the therapists did while I was seeing them didn't seem to help, either, as much as they claim it would! I'm told compression stockings help a lot! I've been wearing various types for at least a dozen years but, they don't seem to be doing me any good!! Another guy claimed that if he injected certain wonky veins in my legs with something that'd kill them off, my legs would grow new working veins. He did one leg and, so far, it's worse than the other! The wonky veins HAVEN'T died off and new ones HAVEN'T grown!! I only went to him because my PC said he was great and would be able to help!
