Do your pets wake you up in the morning?

I was just reading another question and it made me think of my kitty, Abby, I had for 13 years.
I had Saturday and Sunday's off from work, so I loved to sleep in. Somehow Miss Abby knew it was 6:30 even on the weekends!
She used to continually bang her head on my head very hard until I woke up. You could actually hear our skulls collide. I guess she was just trying to do me a favor. R. I. P. Abby girl 😻

Abby sounds sweet.

We have two cats right now.
POTUS (Poatie) is a 15.5 lb, super fluffy, marmalade orange, Maine coon. He's not quite two years old. We keep him indoors.
Coco is a very petite, sleek, 5 lb, chocolate brown, Burmese. We let her outside in the morning and let her in at dinner time.
Poatie loves Coco, but she is terrified of him. So we keep them separated.

Poatie gets the run of the house. But when Coco is inside, she get her own suite of rooms - our master bedroom and bath, and the laundry room. She sleeps on our bed.

I go to bed late and get up late. My wife gets up early for work, which means that she feeds the cats breakfast. And they know what time it is. If she's late, they let her know.

Coco climbs on top of her chest, gazes at her face, and meows quietly to wake her up around 7:00 or so. She's a weird cat who doesn't meow like normal cats. She barely opens her mouth and says things like "Ngaaa" and "Merer" quietly. She's insistent but polite. So my wife can;'t sleep in, even if she wants to.

If Poatie gets impatient for breakfast, he sticks his arm under our bedroom door and pulls on the springy door stop thing to make it go twang. The little brat. LOL

Lliam they sound precious 😻😹 If you had video of the kitty meowing her own way, you could send it in to America's Funniest Videos.

Yeah, she's a weirdo. When she meows, she barely parts her lips but doesn't open her mouth. And she talks or mumbles to herself, especially when she is walking. Sometimes it sounds like she is speaking sentences.

Poatie, on the other hand, doesn't meow much at all. But when he does, he opens his mouth wide like it's a big deal and a tiny, high pitched "mew" comes out. He mainly looks at us expectantly and says mew to say that he's hungry.

Yes. Every. Darn. Morning. She (the cat) wants water and food. Despite both bowls being full. Seems to think that, once having woken me, that those are more important than coffee.

Bang on 6am to be let out. And anytime someone comes to the door. Sleep if pretty much impossible

My cat Harry would keep jumping up on the bed. Until I got up and got him breakfast.

My dog Riley used wake me up by licking my belly when I was 13. He passed away 😢
