It is absolutely okay and fine, if you find it rude. It's a mere standard, so I don't understand why others would feel offended if you found it rude. I love texting in full words because it has more sense, so I like it better. Besides my English sucks🙈

Not rude, but annoying and comes off stupid/uneducated. And some things on GAG, like L'il, they like to auto-correct into "little", or "eight right-colon" (8) into f*cking emojis, like 8) . I really hate GAG's auto-correct BS.

but there are good established ones like: lol, lmao, rofl, tbh, af, asap, idc

and gag somehow autocorrects "b f / g f", "i d k"

My young friends do this a lot when they message me. I feel like a World War 2 code breaker sometimes. But I figure it out. That's just how the kids communicate. It doesn't bother me.
