Do you find hypenated last names irritating?

Only if it's more than 2 and even then it's not irritating, it just makes me feel dumb I can't remember all the names in order. I have a friend who has like 4 last names and I can't keep track of them lol

What kind of last names do people make up to be politically correct? I've never heard of that. Most people with hyphenated last names have their own reasons for it, and I respect that. It's their name after all.

Nah. Sometimes there are very practical or personal reasons that someone would want to hyphenate their last name.

I just find them long. I know why people do it, so I simply try to respect their choices.

My wife did that to hers. When we got married. Can be a pain in the A$$ at times!
You never can tell how people have it listed in their system.
