Most of my friends are women in their 50s-60s. Why do I feel like I get along with them better than anyone my age?

Same. I have a couple of female friends around my age but most of my friends are older women or guys my age. A lot of the girls my age are just not the kind or people I want to spend time with or be influenced by. I believe it's important to surround yourself with people who bring value and positive influences to your life.

I had a few friends around my age but they’re really selfish and cheat on their boyfriends, nothing is ever enough for them. It’s gross.

No! I’m not implying it is. Personally I find them to be so much kinder and selfless than our generation.

No offense but I think a lot of females your age tend to be over-privileged, entitled, self-important, narcissistic and just generally unpleasant to be around. I find women in their 50s and 60s tend to be much more down to earth and enjoyable people.

That’s exactly how I feel too. I have some friends my age but it’s rare.

yeah it's hard to find kind and selfless women in the current generation. older women grew up in a time when values were very different so they have good hearts and good souls. not so much with younger women today. they seem to be all about me me me

Yeah a lot of them are super unpleasant. Especially the ones who complain endlessly about men.

Seriously. I was so sad recently because I feel like all of the women I know who are older are SO kind and selfless. Most people my age just aren’t at all.
