When you go on vacation, do you nornally call your family (siblings) often while you're gone?

My sister is in Costa Rica now and she has called me 3 times since the end of Jan (30th). That's in betwen texts showing me where she's at. Her children were supposed to join her for some weeks but can't for personal reasons. I called her to see if she got here alright the following day, being she told us she'd call us when she got to the rented house and never did. After that it's been 3 times and the last time she called me was Sat morning m (that would be thr 4th time) and when I didn't respond (I was studying for a test) she had my older brother call me 5 minutes later. She can be manipulative that way. I didn't answer his call either, because she has done this sort of thing before. I know

I am thinking to myself--she's either bored already (though she is with her husband) and wants to talk to people--or is fearing (haha) that she may not have the power to control everyone else at home now that she's away. But when you are away--do you call people every other day or do you do as I do-- I never call--only to say I have gotten there and am ok.

PS-- I have spoken to her on the phone 3 times--it's not like I didn't talk to her yet on the phone.
