More like they think they are better than you and just want to control you people judge you treat you badly because you tell them things tell them your visions that they don't agree with you don't gotta tell people anything you were given free will for a reason if you watch liar liar he explains why adults need to lie not telling you that you should lie but that you should figure out if something is worth telling the truth or if you think it would be better to avoid a bad encounter people are never going to understand you and will always think the beliefs of them are better than your beliefs so they tell you what you should do and leave no room for you to say anything and when you do say something they just shut you down and shut your goals down as If ou can't achieve it all because you told them something and now they think they are more superior than you

From experience I have noticed that there are 3 reasons why friends can be mean to you. 1st one is definitely jealously. The 2nd is that they are projecting their own insecurities on to you and may be mean to try and make themselves feel superior to cover up how insecure they actually are. The last one I’ve noticed in my later years is that people take advantage of close friends that they know will always be there for them no matter what. They think they can take advantage of your kindness and friendship and tend to put their efforts into newer relationships. It’s kind of like married couples, where they stop putting in effort because they feel secure in the relationship. Which to me none are ever an excuse as friends should be loyal and kind to the people they love always.

Possibly but there are so many other factors like maybe they think you're submissive and they can get away with being mean to you. People don't understand that submissive people also want to be respected.

People are complex, there's people better off than you whom they are not jealous of or whom they wouldn't express it to. You are also partially responsible for how you are being treated. Just like kids being bullied; They shouldn't bully, but you can do something about it.

Yep people do this a lot or they’ll hide insults behind “just joking” or “you’re overreacting” I’ve been labeled “pretty boy” or gay as an insult because of my appearance I’ve even considered modeling and I noticed a lot of men are very sneaky and jealous from my experience. I had some old group of friends who I’d drink and smoke a few blunts with in the past and it never failed once they were drunk or high they try and start fights or attempt to start a confrontation with me to feel superior.
