Do you still have a childhood dream?

At my age, no.
The only dream that I have left is to die painlessly and, preferably, while asleep like under anesthesia.
Deep anesthesia is FABULOUS because it is literally like being dead.
>>> Your cerebrum is basically OFF.
>>> You have no thoughts, no dreams, no nightmares, no sense of time or awareness of your existence. >>> Your autonomous nervous system is keeping you alive as is the oxygen and anesthetic they give you.
And, you see, that's what's priceless. At my age, there's a lot more pain in the body and from regrets and events in your past all of which you cannot fix. And, since you have so little time left, there's no point in having personal dreams which would take years to make happen - years you don't have. This is why parents and grandparents can be happy - their dreams are now for their descendants who DO have to time to live their dreams.
I have no descendants though. The world is in shitty shape and it's not going to get better for a long time. I could see this happening 40 years ago, so I leaned toward not having kids and, by 30 years ago, I was certain (so I only dated women with hysterectomies). Anyway, since I have no kids and little time, I have no real dreams.
HOWEVER, I took inspiration from the science fiction novel "Protector" by Larry Niven. It gave me the ability to focus on a large part of who I am which was only subconsciously fuzzy before. While I have no kids, as a member of a generation older than you, it is my duty to do what I can to protect you and prepare you as best I can. Thus, I have a G@G account and answer your questions. It's my small way of trying to help the next generations of humans.
I always wanted to be a fireman. I think I liked it more bc you could take your dog with you to work as per the whole Dalmatian thing. I loved my dog, he was my best buddy when I was that age.
Nope, don't remember having one. Didn't see a point.

No... my childhood is dead. Now I'm just a internet shitlord.
My childhood dream was to be a husband and father some day. I come back to it occasionally, but the majority of the time, I have given up on it.
Yes. Making video games. I even have ideas for my own type of company.
Yes, and it isn’t a dream. It’s prophetic. S A V E U S T A C O G A T E
Yes
Working to it all the time
Nah, the last one was squashed last year.
@exitseven What was that?
@Jamie05rhs I was going to have a secure retirement.
@exitseven Oh. I'm sorry about that. Yeah, a lot of people are in the same boat right now.
@Jamie05rhs Having the price of everything suddenly double and watching the stock market tank made me go out and find another job. I was pretty sure that after my unemployment benefits ran out I was just going to retire. Now with two tears left in Mr. Potato head' term I expect it will get worse and unless things turn around there will be no retirements for millions of people.
@exitseven Yes; it's a terrible situation.
No all my childhood dreams were destroyed.
Not anymore
