Is it too weird to call my Flower Girl my Flower Girl?

She my sister of different biological parents, my divine sister. My mum reckons it’s very inappropriate to call my Flower Girl such (aye, She loves that sobriquet), but then again, my mum knows Her not. She is 28, was 28, and always will be 28, as 28 is mathematically a perfect number. Can a 28-year-young lass be called a ‘girl’? I thought so, as many people call adults with a similar age ‘kids.’ No, She doesn’t throw flowers at the audience at a wedding; that’s too Western.
