Do you consider animals to be your “friends?”?

Im talking like any animals you have for pets, or if you work with animals either as a care taker at a zoo/marinepark, vet nurse, dog trainer, or just a pet parent.

Animals are teachers. They teach you that you can win love and loyalty with just a little food and petting. They teach you that once you feed their hunger and give them safety, that all it takes is a bit of horsewhipping to get someone to jump through hoops for you. I try to remember this when I'm training a slave. You can force that person to watch as many Youtube videos as you want, but nothing beats a plate of fried chicken after you've been tied to a restraining device for several hours.

at least, maybe family members. they were all unique beings. they are friends as long as the relationship is good, like any other. that includes having yummy food and water and fun and quality tiem and gifts and good words.

I barely tolerate being friends with people. I don’t comprehend how one can be friends with an animal.
