Do you get jealous of your friends success, or are you happy to see them succeed?

No point in being jealous of anything. Even if it is just sheer luck, it got applied to their fate alone. No one else.

It is their life, their efforts, their luck. It does not look good for you to be jealous.

But if they are throwing their success in my face, even if a bit mildly insulting in nature, I would just keep my distance from them. I mean, there are millions of successful people, it would be better to keep your success to yourself as it matters to you alone.

My motto is, to share information on need to know basis. I don't go around screaming my profits in the stock market. To not bring a topic with me in it unless asked by somebody. No point in it unless asked by someone.

I know some people who do not tell salaries anyhow. They could just lie, but they don't even put in that much effort. This just tells us that they are honest, but just prefer to have a bit more personal space and privacy than others.

Not gonna lie, I’m a jealous type of person lol.
I’m happy for my friends success and I’m rooting for them. But deep down, part of me usually feels bad if I’m not accomplishing as much as them

they're not happy for me so i'm not happy for them. my friend constantly complains, she has it ALL, she got engaged, she got married, she got a husband, an apartment, etc... and yet nothing makes her happy. i keep thinking "why is she always so sad, she has everything that i want" it's ridiculous.

Only thing they got to before me was marriage and kids. One never wanted marriage bt did so for the military benefits. The other never wanted a kid but doesn't believe in abortion. So in a way, they beat me to it, but they wouldn't call it success

Generally not resentful of others success. I'd be more critical of myself in they took a chance that I chose not to and they made it work.
