I hope I can do this soon :) fingers crossed
You can do it & when you get all your ducks in a row & you are ready to buy you’ll be fine. In addition compare apples to oranges & what mean by that is compare having a house build from the ground up to buying a used house. Start saving & if you can save enough to avoid throwing money away & paying PMI that would be perfect. In the land of mortgages the key word is principal & every month if you pay extra you can knock a 30 year mortgage down to a 15 year or less.
Hell ya

Yes I would buy a house just for myself, but it would be contingent on finding the right piece of land in the right place at the right price, if those conditions were not met I'm quite happy to rent the one bedroom flat I'm currently in, It's by no means perfect but it will do.
Yes if I had no one to share it with ,, renting is a waste of money you get nothing for it at least buying a home , it has value , when sold or if you pass it on to others family etc.. renting is not for me , but I do understand not everyone will or wants to buy a home.. for what ever there reasons..
Absofuckinglutely & years back it was cheaper for me to buy a new home as apposed to leasing an apartment & I’m so glad I did. As for me I bought a house by myself & I live by myself as well.
I gave a promise to my dogs. And -well- to the Missus as well. Living alone is not an option.
House? To enslave myself to a bank, and to pay off something that's entirely outdated within a foreseeably short time? No way.
No, sold the house my late fiance and I bought because I didn't want to deal with being a house owner on my own.
that's the plan. And to make it better, not buy a house but build it how I want it. Little life goal in mind for later :)
The goal is to build one and live in it alone until I’m married or with kids
I prefer to live with a guy so we can divide chores and bills among two people. I will only move in with a guy if we are married.
This may sound cheesy, but I need someone by my side..
Yes, of course. Otherwise with a roommate I'm close with.
I did for several years before I got married.
Note to guys, if you own a house... your attractiveness level increases by 82.7%
After my divorce, I did just that. Bought a condo and lived alone... until I met my SO.
Yes, this is what I want so bad
All the peace and tranquility I would feel being by myself
I owned my house since I was 32. Still live in the same location.
Of course, that would be a great investment for myself
This is highly dependent on market conditions, city i reside in, and whether my job requires me to go into the office vs WFH
Yes, I think renting an apartment is just flushing money down the toilet.
Well planning to buy a house whether I have anybody or not
No, I don’t like living by myself, but I live in a house currently by myself recently
Yeah, if I could afford one now these days and hopefully somebody would eventually join me
No I need to be around people. I was depressed during lockdown.
IF I CAN GET A CAT OR DOG
what about one of these?

already did, for now
If it was convenient, then yeah.
It is how I am living now.
Yes that’s my current goal in life
No, no fun in that.
I can't, it's too expensive
Of course!
