There was a day when my father , brother and I went out fishing in our little boat. We caught so many fish we had to go back to shore a because there was no place left to put them.

I'm so sorry you and your dad aren't getting along. I can't imagine not being there for my kids even though they aren't there for me when I need them.
I would go back to the time my brother, dad and I went fishing at the coast guard station. I think i was maybe 9 or 10. They said we can be there as long as we want since nobody has caught any fish there. After a while I got a fish. It was big enough to feed our family of four. I was the only one that caught any fish. My dad and brother were so happy for me.

Reach out to him. I lost my dad 12 years ago. Did we get along 100% of the time, hell no. Most of it yes. Did we talk all the time, no. Do i wish we did sure. I wish I could talk to him now. Don't be like me who can't talk to their dad anymore.
