I told my parents that I was thinking about ending my life and that if I did it I’d hang my self and They replied with this? is this ok?

My step dad and I were talking about guns, I grabbed one of his guns and he made some comment like “oh you’re gonna kill your self with that?” I replied, “no I’d probably hang myself” then he said “oh well don’t do it in here.. do it in a park where everybody could see ya.” Is this ok to be so insensitive about your child? Especially when it deals with suicidal thoughts

My own sister told me to kill myself because I would be doing everyone a favour and everyone else defended her when I tried to stand up for myself.

No it's no okay what was said. It's absolutely sick for him to say that to you what is wrong with people I hope you will be okay stat strong

Some people make a joke out of everything. They're just insensitive assholes. Please don't do anything like that. If you are thinking about doing that, get help. It's never OK. It's a permanent solution to temporary problem that you can never change if you did that.
