When something significant happens in your life do you usually tell both your parents or only your mom/dad?

I always tell my mom everything. I don't feel comfortable telling most things to my father. My parents are still together and often my mom says not to tell him anything. He's very temperamental.

Yes, usually I tell both my mom and my dad. I'm also closer to my mom and I can just blurt things out as they pop into my head- with my dad, I spend some time thinking about delivery and choosing my words more carefully. 🙂
