Clothes, food, I wasn't allowed to take showers because it would use up the propane.

I moved in with my Mother at age 13, and I was turned from a privileged kid with his own TV and every video game system at the time into a trailer park living house slave and my TV became hers in the living room. Hanging out with friends got removed and I became the live-in babysitter because my Mom made a baby with some 20 year old. CPS took me and my 2 sisters away because there was no food. All I did was clean, cook, and babysit while I fucking starved.

I left at 16 with 2 dirty shirts to my name, cargo pants, a pocket knife, and old boots. From there I made a living in Hollywood by breaking into people's apartments and trashing and stealing everything for my landlord (people that didn't pay rent and used the California system to live for free). The local street gang that killed people were the guys I called up when I needed "people work" done... I was like one of the gangsters, but not jumped in and not part of the loyalties stuff. I finally got old enough and joined the military and haven't looked back.

No offense... fuck your dog. You could've been me that had it all, and then had it all stripped away and forced into a life of crime just to eat and pay my own rent at 16. My excuse for not hanging out with people (gang bangers) was my vicious attack dogs that have literally mangled people's faces up. What did you want a dog for? Did you even need one?

I remember my birthday wish was to become Superman each year as a kid. All that happened was I grew up amd broke both my feet 2 years. ago and couldn't walk... so I guess you could say it partially came true.😂

Never got either. Wish I at least got the camera. It wasn't even that much money.

Shoes, dog, another cat, a camera, football jersey, shades, etc. Until i turned 11 where i started working with my dad and he gave me my own money so i started saving them. At age of 14 so i had my own bike 🚲 , my own shoes and my own camera.

Believe it or not a BB gun, that's cause they didn't know I had a real one at the time, I would ask for a BB gun and my parents would always say No, someone let me have one and I started shooting light bulbs with it 🤣

Nice clothes. My sister got clothes brand new while my clothes came from the goodwill most were too small. Especially my shirts and pants were too big.

I don’t think I was too spoiled. When I asked for something, and was refused, I realised there was a reason, so I asked no more. As a teen and until still, I always wanted to be free, but the child has grown and the dream is gone.
