What gifts went down well with 12/13 year old girls?

It's my cousin's birthday this week and we still haven't got her any presents. So difficult immediately after Christmas. I know kids are all into quite different things at this age but would anyone like to share what their cousins or children received that they really liked this year?

She's not into make up or toiletry type things and doesn't do any sports. She's being assessed for ASD and gets anxious in crowds so things like theatre tickets or experiences probably won't work.

Maybe that soda maker thing they sell at staples? Or perhaps a nice digital camera (not a phone)?
