In a less extreme way, I became a kind of incel during secondary school because I was bullied by some girls for like several years. Some others had made them stop at the beginning of the final year, but the effects stayed with me for another 4 years. When in college things seemed to repeat, it took a more serious way by official intervention, but I was sorry for every woman who got in touch with that until then. Interesting enough that I never apologized to anyone around that woman in college. But that was it, because afterwards when in my first job a woman bullied not only me and our female boss was about to fire her, it stayed with her, while on the contrary I was turned towards women at work who were like angels compared to that devil.

But what I thought of when reading this was my brother who spent quite some time with the one neighbor girls, while I rather spent time with the other (we obviously we had four close to our house). I just noticed over the years that though exposed to advances even, my brother likely turned out to be closeted gay.

The process of a person learning how to be likable and understanding needs to start in early childhood. Every incels I know irl is that way because their parents failed at their job.
Instead of actually helping the kid through their problems they either coddle them or ignore the problem. Sometimes, kids just have to be told "Hey that thing you did? That wasn't great, don't do that anymore."

I would encourage him to do gregarious sports such as pair dancing or hiking and chat with women there.

He can also do conversation training or public speaking courses. He already goes to the gym and eats protein so that's covered.
