Something close to mine but certainly NOT mine!! We all ate dinner together, a lot of the time, we got on well together but there was a lot of bickering and fighting, too. And, I was already treated like the dummy or the baby of the family even though I was the smartest and oldest. There was NEVER any hugs or kisses, at least not from my immediately family after I got to about 7 years old! and, even then, it was just my parents. Quite often, dad hated my guts but it was mostly HIS fault that I was the way I was around him!! Instead of taking the time to show me how to do things, as he did with my brother, he's just yell and scream at me for being so stupid because I DIDN'T know how to do this or that! When I was little, I was his "A-#1 son" just like in the Charlie Chan movies! But, if I didn't do something the right way that pleased him, LOOK OUT!! I was his mortal enemy!! At least until 1989. After that, the only time he yelled at me was one night when I made a so-called dumb play in a card game. In the end, as grandma predicted, I was the one that carried him while my brother, his holiness, was the great family disappointment!! And, both of my ex-sisters turned out to be, too!! They REALLY fucked over the family!!

Hasn't really changed. Husband and wife with a variable number of kids greater than or equal to one.

Families that eat at the table together and who don't have all kinds of step-relatives.

Mother, husband, 1- 5 children living together.

Mom and Dad plus kids, parents still married.

Hard to say what is normal now but it used to be a married couple with kids and they were all home for dinner, but now no one eats together anymore or is married for long

Mine wasn't at all healthy so I honestly can't tell you.
