Traditional Family?

Just curious... in today's world how many of you want to have a traditional family?

That is, get married, have kids, where the husband works and the wife mostly stays at home and cares for the kids, at least until they're grown.

In no way is this question trying to be judgmental about the pros and cons of traditional family compared to non-traditional family.

I have a pretty big conservative family and I and my husband are living by the old rules.

My dream was and is to have a son.

I don't like to change something that isn't broken. We added D/s to it, because we are both in need of it, but that's about it.

As for working, women in my family were usually educated and sometimes held jobs going back to 1920s. Working women are pretty normal in our family. However, family and kids always come first.

My family is definitely traditional. My husband works and I stay home and care for the kids. Couldn't imagine it any other way since my kids really depend on me to be there for them

I had a very traditional family. Pretty much what you described. I think we were the outliers.

Nah.
I don't want to have kids.
I just want it to be myself, my husband, and a dog.
I'd work as I think it's really important to have your own money.
I might adopt in the future though, who knows.

That's the ideal, isn't it? Raising children in a nuclear household or even with your extended family nearby. I don't think it's going to be the norm again any time in the future.

I want this, it is a lot of work, but little by little I'm working towards it. Unsure of when I'll have my own family but one day.
