What Girls Said
My question to you is: Why do you open your question only to women? Is it because your bestie is a woman?
If that is the case, you will face a number of challenges.
1. At your age, hormones play a dominant role in your life and being a bestie will soon be overrule with the question "how can I be more than just a bestie?".
2. It is difficult to remain a bestie if other feelings ruin that friendship. You have to choose either one or the other because more often than not, moving from bestie to a closer relationship will kill the friendship.
To be a bestie, you have to communicate and accept other people's flaws and idiosyncrasies. You don't impose yourself onto others. The most important though is mutual trust. Without that, there is no such thing as besties because the day you misuse the trust is the day when you end being a bestie.
My question is because i always feel as a best friend what could i have done that i would have not lost my bestie after having a girlfriend
I used to know her since i was 5 but now she distances me saying u dont have time for me after u met rach.
