I’ve only had a couple real true friends in my life but I have many acquaintances.

A true “bestie” you could trust with your children or ask to drive several states over and bail you out of a predicament. That’s also the kinda person who knows the code to your house or garage and is welcome to borrow your best brand new truck any time. The person who if they broke your stuff would 100% fix it or replace it on their own dime without thinking twice. And you would do all the same things for them. Even if you haven’t talked in years.

Yes I do, a couple or a few, they are spread out a bit, not all near where I live and some in other countries. One of the great things with friends, is you can see them one day and then not for 6 months or more and it’s just like you walked out of the room and walked back in. I have a fair mix of guy friends and girl friends.

I have my crew. But honestly, if I got married, I wouldn’t know what to do about a best man. The most probable candidate would be a TERRIBLE best man, lmfao, he wouldn’t want to make a speech at the reception, and I’d be lucky to even get his ass of the couch to come out for my bachelor party, let alone PLAN it😂 He’d be like “I think I’m good, bro, I’m gonna stay in and watch the Celtics game.”🤦‍♂️

No. My previous two bestfriends both broke my trust. One, who I knew since kindergarden, had cut all contact the day after our high-school exams and blocked me everywhere on social media and blocked my phonenumber. The other r*ped one of our female friends from the group and put the blame on his alcoholism and trauma's from his youth. Eversince I never saw anyone as my bestfriend.

Two best friends whom I've known since childhood. My oldest since infancy, our mothers were friends and had us play as babies. Us three grew up together and called ourselves the three musketeers, ascribing ourselves as Athos, Porthos and Aramis depending on our personalities.
