I learned years ago, that when a woman says "Do What You Want," that means you are in trouble, and need to figure out what you did wrong and see how you can fix the situation.

Basically, she is angry!! Do not make it worse. Do what is needed to make her feel better. Apologize to her, even if you do not feel like you did anything wrong. Your goal is to bring her to a place where she sees you as her best friend and lover. Someone whom she has a hard time staying mad. Be reasonable, be kind; treat her well. Do not "Do What You Want." Compromise helps a lot in a relationship!! You should be giving her 100 percent of yourself; if you do this all the time; she will have a great desire to reciprocate, and give back to you 100 percent of herself. Never let this phrase be said by her; if it is said, quickly do what needs to be done to defuse the situation so you both will be back on good terms!!

It’s passive aggression. For petty shit, it’s water off a duck’s back and people can be childish and risk not getting the results or be direct and get exactly what you want, an answer.

Depends a lot on the context doesn't it? If she wants leadership in that moment i'd be a leader. If she's pissed off at me I know to delay my actions for a bit until things calmed down and I thought it trough.
