What does that mean?

So, on Thursday, I didn't go to school because I was sick. And my guy friend went on a trip to Bali. When my friend went to the canteen, somebody asked his friends why he didn't come to school. So for the reply, his friends told the guy who asked, "He went on a trip; maybe he took (my name) on the trip as well." Then after that, my friend told them, "No, she is sick; she is resting." Then again, those boys said, "Who knows, both of them didn't come to school today, so maybe they were on the trip together."

Again, my friend smiled and kept it cool. After that, they said, "Oh, I have to tell (my guy friend's name) that she is sick."

Actually we all are friends, his friends and us.
And that's what happened, and I want to know why they teased me like that. This is not the first time that they teased me with my guy friend.

It sounds like your guy friend's other friends were just joking around and teasing you both. Sometimes guys that age like to give each other a hard time, even if it's all in fun.

Since you both missed school on the same day, even though for different reasons, they were implying you might be more than friends by going on a trip together. Even though they know that's not what really happened.

Guys that age also sometimes like to tease each other about any girls they're friends with, to try and embarrass them or get a reaction. They probably see you guys spending time together and want to hint that you like each other, even if you're truly just friends.

I wouldn't read too much into it. As long as you and your friend know the real deal between you and don't let their teasing get awkward, it's probably all meant in good fun. Don't let it bother you - just laugh it off or play along casually next time. They're just trying to get a rise out of you both!
